Active Life= healthy Minds Challenge

We are excited to announce that we have taken up Active Live= Healthy Minds challenge- to raise funds for Deafscope .

We are reaching out for sponsors to support The Active Life= healthy Minds challenge in bid to fundraise for Deafscope  to enable us to continue providing future services for the Deaf and Deaf usher community.

Covid -19 lockdown has been tough on the mind and body especially the Deaf and Deaf Usher community, feeling isolated for over 4 months. It is time to get together and support each other reaching out to our community.

The challenge involves two Deaf men, one of them being Deaf usher, cycling on a tandem bike from the West Midlands to Wales and all the way round the Welsh coastline. This is to raise awareness about keeping active and healthy to get a stronger body and mind.

The two gentlemen who are taking part in the challenge are called Ishtiaq Hussain and Daniel jay –Cropp.

Ishtiaq and Daniel will be uploading daily vlogs of their journey. There will be opportunities to have any sponsor logo printed on our T- Shirt and featured on our daily vlogs..

We need your support. We are looking for sponsors and donations. A just giving page will be released nearer the time.

Any donations of equipment suitable for this challenge will be greatly appreciated and we will give your company or organisation a mention in our daily vlog updates

Deafscope takes great pride in supporting the Deaf and Deaf Usher community ensuring they have equal accessible opportunities connecting the Deaf community and empowering Deaf people to reach their full potential.

It is our top priority to keep Deafscope alive with your help.

Deadline for sponsors is 12th August 2020. Please email for form.

We are hoping that our challenge will start on 17th August 2020 we will update to confirm nearer time
